When we genuinely and wholeheartedly serve the needs of others in our unique and special way of giving ourselves, doing what we love, our life takes on much more meaning. It becomes more valuable and satisfying, improving our perception of value, image, and esteem. Dear friends, apply the above to your life as soon as possible, and don't miss out on it any longer. Start slowly and expand it more and more, don't rush, and be persistent. Forget about selfishness, we were not born to be the center of our lives. To the extent that we move the epicenter of our life and put it at the service of others, we will discover feelings, direction, happiness, satisfaction, joy, peace, and many other beautiful things we have dreamed of.

With the above, I do not mean we should be complacent with people, trying to please them by seeking their acceptance or affection. Complacency is a form of attachment that only shows that there is emptiness in the person who practices it, especially emotional emptiness, primarily housed in the unconscious. The complacent person suffers greatly because they never perceive that their efforts are rewarded, and they become frustrated and exhausted to a great extent. In addition, the person benefiting from this behavior of others tends not to value them and often does not even realize the efforts made by the complacent person. Complacency is a form of attachment that needs to be worked on with continuous exercises of self-awareness, reflection, and behavioral therapy. This makes it clear that giving ourselves to others is very different from being accommodating to others.

I also want to add that to give ourselves to others, especially people needing our talents, we don't need much; we need to enjoy our abilities and what we love, and decide to do it, to be intentional. The passion of doing what we like automatically leads us to do it and give it with an extra dose of love and emotion that will make it unique, valuable, and valued. The most impressive thing about giving to others is that everyone always wins, but the one who offers the service wins more. Gaining self-esteem, self-image, experience, and relationships can be the beginning of something huge when you understand the great secret of giving to others. The one who receives receives time, dedication, enthusiasm, learning, and energy; everything that will help him feel a loved and valued person, can be a great new beginning, a spark of hope.

You must realize that I am not saying that giving to others should be a transactional exercise where payment is involved. Regardless of whether or not payment exists, we must always give ourselves to others. There is no more beautiful way to live and experience happiness. Even giving ourselves to others through volunteer activities or in the church can also be an excellent therapy to rebuild a person who has suffered trauma, depression, grief, or breakups. Also, giving ourselves to others through volunteering under formal structures such as those of some NGOs like the Red Cross or some well-organized denomination of the Christian Church, can help us strengthen our leadership because we learn to submit to a higher authority. The best leaders, leaders with humanity, know and practice being under a higher authority.

In short, serving others has countless benefits. The feelings it generates lead to long-lasting feelings of fulfillment, joy, and inner peace. Serving and giving ourselves to others is available; we must decide if we want to do it. I have always thought the best things in life do not cost anything. God has them for everyone, and this is one of them.
