With Claudia, my business partner, we follow the Master Mind methodology in John Maxwell's courses. This methodology ensures participants have documented, read, and even reflected on the topic before each session. In the group session, questions are asked for greater group reflection, and everyone's experiences and opinions are heard. From these discussions, the emergence of a higher group knowledge can be seen in most cases, and stronger bonds of trust and friendship are created, which are very important in the process.
Napoleon Hill had already mentioned the term "Master Mind" before John Maxwell. In short, Napoleon Hill uses this term much more deeply, and they do not contradict each other. John Maxwell quotes Napoleon Hill in several of his books.

We have all probably experienced the Master Mind, although it is tough to explain. Napoleon Hill identifies the Master Mind with that energy or source of knowledge that we sometimes can access individually or as a group. In some cases, the Master Mind reveals itself to us because it simply wants to, giving us arguments for deep reflections, ideas of creativity for problem solving, or simply surprising us with sparks of innovative ideas.
The crux of the matter is accessing the Master Mind when we want to and not necessarily when it wants to reveal something. That is, having the ability to cross that threshold at will and come into contact with that energy or network of higher knowledge that illuminates us. Ultimately, we want to be connected to the Master Mind as much as possible, to that feeling of perfection that is far superior to ours.
As educators, Claudia and I have experienced that when a group crosses this threshold and has access to the Master Mind, it can be in person or by digital means, the medium is not a limit for this experience. This type of energy does not need physical proximity. The feeling is special, the participants become deeper and more refined in their contributions, and the facilitator, guide, or coach has little to do to achieve this because the group has already accessed this right. It is a force far superior to any of its participants.
The previous step to reaching the Master Mind and controlling its access is the prior preparation of the person involved or all those involved in the event; the task must be done. This special energy is not controlled by laziness or by doing what is necessary. The best performance during the preparation phase is critical. Thus, with your drive and the energy of the Master Mind, momentum is achieved; with that energy, you or the group will become unstoppable.
John Maxwell seeks to cross this threshold for all Master Mind participants. However, he cannot control how each one prepares for each session. Lucky are those who prepare and succeed; then they realize that the reward is worth two or three times the effort; it was quite an investment. I can only wish that you are connected to the Master Mind as many times as possible, individually or as a group, for as long as possible. It is an experience worth repeating over and over.
