Personal growth is a daily habit

Updated: 3 days ago

Personal growth is the intentional pursuit of self-improvement, a powerful force that empowers us to improve daily. Just as dedicating time to a vital activity leads to significant achievement, so does our commitment to personal growth.

My life has been a tapestry of enriching experiences. I've ventured into entrepreneurship, started and closed several companies, and embarked on a 7-year marriage. I've studied in prestigious universities and worked in both good and bad jobs. At 45, have I truly capitalized on these experiences? The answer is not a resounding yes but a humble acknowledgment of the journey.

All this happened to me because I didn't have a good guide, mentor, or system that showed me how I could be better every day, capitalizing on the successes and failures of my journey. If I had had those means, my life would probably be different now. I'm not complaining. Thanks to all this, I have learned the value of this habit that has already added value to my life, and I'm sure it can do the same for yours.

Personal growth is a habit, a simple yet powerful routine that, once embraced, becomes almost automatic. Its results are so compelling that we are unwilling to let it go. Like all good habits, it brings pleasure and a sense of accomplishment, leading to a happier and more productive life.

This is my first article on this blog; the least I want to sound like is commercial. I write these words from my heart. We all face situations or problems that can be very complicated in our lives, sometimes sending us to the ground or below, and we believe it would be impossible to overcome them. With personal growth strategies, you can overcome falls faster, feel better for longer, and make your life a much more pleasant place to enjoy. I have implemented this habit, and it is working for me.

If every day we can be 0.1% (one tenth of a percent) better than the day before, at the end of the month we will manage to improve a little more than 3.0%, and at the end of the year (365 days) we will have improved almost 43.0%. Friends, this is a simple job every day. With a dedication of 15-20 minutes a day, your life will change. If we improve yearly by 43.0%, you cannot imagine where your life will be in 10 years, much less in 20. Of course, it is worth it!
